Notes on the US Presidential Election 2020
Here I compare the charts of the USA, Donald Trump and Joe Biden and with a look at Nov 3rd 2020.

The USA was officially created with the signing of The Declaration of Independence on the 4th of July 1776 in Philadelphia. America, like Canada, has a Cancerian Sun Sign. Cancer rules home and family and is ruled by the Moon. America’s Moon is in Aquarius. Aquarius is ‘The Water Bearer’ who comes to replenish the air which has been made too arid by 2,000 years of Pisces. America’s Moon is in perfect harmony with America’s Mars in Gemini, suggesting great generosity – especially of words and ideas.

Donald Trump is a Gemini, born on June 14th 1946 at 10:54 am in New York City. Gemini is, like Aquarius, an Air Sign, Gemini is quick witted and talkative, full of ideas. Teaching and learning. It is also Cancer’s sign of disappointment.

Joe Biden is a Scorpio, born Nov. 20th 1942 in Scranton Pennsylvania. Scorpio is a Water Sign, like Cancer and while the modern symbol for Scorpio is the Scorpion, once upon a time, not so long ago Scorpio was symbolized by the Phoenix, the mythical bird that crashes to Earth in flames and then rises back into the sky to begin a new life.

Trump’s Rising Sign (the sign on the Eastern Horizon at his birth) is Leo. Leo the lion. The proud ‘King of Beasts’ with the mass of golden hair framing his face. Trump’s Rising Sign is 29 degrees of Leo – as powerful as it gets. In his twelfth house, just above the Horizon were at his birth, both Mars and Pluto. So, Trump is drawn to illicit or taboo activities, especially sex, and has an almost impossible time seeing his own motivation.

Biden’s Rising Sign is also a Fire Sign, Sagittarius, symbolized by the Centaur, the mythical half horse, half man who holds a bow and arrow, ready to shoot he target which is over the horizon, out of his sight. Like Trump, Biden also has Mars in his Twelfth House, indicating his attraction to taboos. But Biden has Venus, The Sun and Mercury there making him very complex with great appeal even if his self-confidence suffers for it.

The Rising Sign for the USA is Libra, an Air Sign, symbolized by the balance. America is seen as a peace maker, even though she is really a Cancerian with Mars in Cancer. America is sensitive, with excessive and unpredictable mood swings.

America Trump and Biden. America’s Sun is at 13 degrees of Cancer. Trump’s Saturn is not too far away. And Biden’s Jupiter is similarly placed. So, America sees Trump as the stern father who must be obeyed. America sees Biden as the mythical teacher who brings gifts from the Gods.

On Election Day, Tuesday November 3rd, the Moon is at 15 degrees of Gemini, very close to Trump’s Sun at 22 degrees. The Moon represents the masses. But the Sun is at 11 degrees of Scorpio, right on top of Biden’s Mars and as the day rolls on, making positive connections with Biden’s Mercury, Sun, Venus and Ascendant.

Retrograde Mercury turns Direct in the Noon Hour. So, in the middle of the day, Mercury goes from Retrograde in Libra to Direct in Libra. From confusing to clear as a bell.

Also, of interest, both Trump and Biden were born at the Full Moon. Trump’s Moon is in Sagittarius, opposite his Gemini Sun. Biden’s Moon is in Taurus, opposite his Scorpio Sun.

Despite a morning of total confusion (Mercury Retrograde) and continuing confusion (Mars Retrograde) It looks like a Trump victory at first.

But Biden’s not the harsh father, which was Trump’s appeal 4 years ago. So, like a good horse race, Biden wins with a come from behind performance. The question is when does it end?

While I am not able to find an exact time for this event, I am assuming it begins around 11 am and the moment of the swearing in is about 11:30 am. This puts Taurus Rising with the Moon and Mars and Uranus close by.

But then again, these predictions are based on the popular vote. The Electoral College may yet steal another one.
